Dan and Emma manage Sunset View Farm Dahlias with Dan's parents, Linda and Andy. Dan grew up with dahlias on the farm, and after earning a degree in Industrial Design, he returned home to help Andy and Linda transition the flower farm from a hobby business to a full time income with thousands of local customers and thousands more nationwide. The farm gained another partner when Emma married into the adventure! Emma helped streamline just about every part of the farm's processes, and led the launch of several new business units for the farm, including our wholesale cut flowers and education department. Along with the rest of the farm family, Emma and Dan have spent countless hours tending the plants, blooms, and tubers produced by the fields. In 2024 and 2025, they shared much of that experience by training hundreds of work trade participants together at our farm. While Emma is currently attending medical school, they continue to work side by side preparing materials for onsite and online workshops teaching the art and craft of cultivating dahlias - including this course!
