Lights Out dahlias range from a velvety purple that can be so dark they're almost black - to a rich burgundy wine, with blooms about 4" wide. Great for solid color formal bouquets or high contrast red mixes. This is one of our aunt Jenny's favorite blooms! Fair warning - this variety is a late bloomer for us in zone 6b! Probably best for growers in warm climates with early planting dates.
