We don't ship with heat packs or plastic/foam insulation. We'd rather work with mother nature and save the environmental cost. We're a small team, and Fall shipping has to be done in a pretty tight window, so we also cannot monitor weather at your destination. Bottom line: If you're worried about cold exposure during the delivery window, please do not place an order. We can't be liable for any damage due to cold exposure during the shipping window. Thanks for your understanding. To date, in seven years, we have never lost a shipment due to cold exposure. We're confident this has as much to do with having a good shipping window, good packing, and the skill of the mail couriers as it does with gardeners making wise choices about what's safe for their area!
