Grab some friends and save your spot at an evening of delightful desserts set on a dreamy dahlia farm.
Relax at your table and enjoy the view or stroll the flower fields, take lots of photos, and enjoy the magic of thousands of dahlias in their full glory — all while you sample an assortment of gourmet goodies crafted by our friends at Wesselhof Farm. There'll be music and a dance lesson this year as well, taught on our outdoor covered dance floor.
Guests are welcome and encouraged to bring your own beverages (alcoholic or not) and your own main course for dinner: pizza, sandwiches, or a full spread. Whatever you like.
This year's event will be a more intimate affair. We will be offering only sixty tickets! Our farm is truly a magical place. Come make your own memories!

Just tell us your name as the party head when you arrive and we'll check you in. Easy!
Tickets are non-refundable.
If you find you cannot make it on your chosen date, please let us know and you can choose a different date. Or just find another flower and dessert person who will be happy to take your ticket(s) off your hands. Thank you!
Dessert in the Dahlias Guest Guide
We’re so excited you’ve decided to join us for Dessert in the Dahlias this summer! We are one-of-a-kind venue on a working farm, so here are a few brief instructions to make your visit thoroughly enjoyable.
Parking
We have two driveways: one asphalt, one gravel. Take the gravel entrance and follow it behind the solar panels, where you will find plenty of parking in a mulched area.
Check-in
You will see the tables in our fields as you drive in. Please check-in immediately after parking. Then you are free to dine and explore the fields!
Photos are welcome
Ticket holders are welcome and encouraged to take lots of photos.
This is not a U-pick event
Soak in the dreamy ambiance, but please do not harvest flowers from the fields or vegetables from our community gardeners' plots. If you would like to purchase a fresh bouquet to take home we always have some on hand!
No pets, please
Thank you for leaving your pets at home for this event.
Changes to reservations
We’re happy to change your reservation dates to another date. Please let us know two weeks in advance!
This is a rain or shine event
In the event of rain, the event will be held under cover in our event high tunnel. You'll be dry at your table, but consider bringing an umbrella and boots to explore the fields. In past years some lucky attendees on a rainy day got to see rainbows over the flowers rather than a sunset: an even rarer treat!
