Meet the farmers

We're the Grinthal family: Andy, Linda, Emma and Dan!

 

Andy and Linda started the adventure of Sunset View Farm as a CSA, a community garden, and a teaching farm over twenty years ago.

 

We've been dahlia lovers for ten years, and we've been professional dahlia farmers since 2021. Emma rounded out our family team when she married into the farm in 2024!

Today, we're still one of New Jersey's biggest (and most fun!) community gardens, and our flower stands and unique events have become a much loved local tradition.

 

Though our local community is the heart of what we do, we're blessed to be able to share our tubers and dahlia growing courses with gardeners all over the country.​​​

 

Flower farming is challenging work, but it's a joy to work together as a family bringing beauty into the world.
