How to Start a Survival Garden
​Are you self-sustainable? You may need to be soon. Learn to grow your own food, whether in soil on your property, in containers, or in a community garden plot.
We will discuss seeds, soil, tools, plant care, harvesting, seed saving, medicinal herbs, perennials, and even good weeds that are edible that you may not want to kill. Bring a sandwich and a drink and enjoy a working lunch on the farm.

Flower Power Hour 60's Dance
​This will be a music extravaganza of your favorite sixties dance songs, with a gorgeous view of the Kittatinny mountains, our now famous flower fields, and our Tuscan-style farm.
​
Dance to the music or just listen and sing along with lots of nostalgia. Period dress optional, but highly encouraged!

11th Annual Tuscan Sunset Dinner

The fruit of more than a decade's partnership between Chef John Vitale of Caffe Anello and Sunset View Farm, our Tuscan Sunset Dinner is a much beloved summer tradition.

Join us for an authentic five course Italian meal in full view of the farm in all its summer glory. See the Tuscany inspired vineyards, walk the dahlia fields and enjoy one of our famous sunsets.

Dessert in the Dahlias 2024
Easily our most beloved event yet, Dessert in the Dahlias is back for summer 2024!
Bring your family and friends to enjoy an afternoon or evening sampling gourmet desserts crafted by our friends at Wesselhof Farm. Relax at your table or stroll through our fields of thousands of dahlias in their full September glory.

Choose from afternoon or sunset sessions. Either way, you're in for a treat.

Dahlia Planting Party
The farm is usually open at planting time for a workshop showcasing our planting methods. Join us for several hours of hands-on and educational fun.
There will be plenty of opportunities to ask any questions you have about growing dahlias, and you'll get to take some home for your own garden!

Zinnia Madness
People come from far and wide for Farmer Andy's annual Zinnia Madness party!
Join the crew for a great time planting the Zinnia field together, and stick around for lunch on the porch overlooking the farm.

The Big Dig
Our annual harvest party for the dahlia fields.
​
Join us for a fun and educational workshop on digging, washing, and dividing dahlia tubers; enjoy some great farm-cooked food, including Farmer Andy's famous homemade french fries; and leave with new confidence as well as some of fresh-dug dahlia tubers for your own garden!

This event usually occurs in November, within two weeks of the last frost at the farm.
