At Linda's suggestion, John (son #3) and Farmer Andy started a flower stand at the end of our driveway stocked with zinnias to pay for John's new basketball hoop.

The experiment was a great success, and though today dahlias are our main crop, Farmer Andy still grows thousands of these giant zinnias every year for our roadside stands and even florist orders.
